Treatment Options
There are a range of Restylane treatments available to rejuvenate the face and restore a more youthful appearance.
Restylane
One of the telltale signs of ageing is a loss of volume and fullness of the face. Restylane can address these issues, and be injected beneath the lines in the skin to plump up soft tissue and fill facial hollows. Restylane contains naturally occurring substances produced by the body.
Restylane is used to smooth out lines and fill areas around the mouth, eyes and forehead and to define lips. Restylane products have been designed for specific areas of the face, hands and body.
Restylane Vital
There have also been developments in skin rejuvenation and deep dermal hydration, with Restylane Vital which can counter the effects of sun damage and the natural ageing process. Restylane Vital can improve skin elasticity and restore smoothness, as well as deeply moisturise for better skin tone and health.
Through a series of Restylane Vital injections, the treatment is delivered into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and connective tissue found under the skin. A broad range of areas can be treated including the face, neck, décolletage (the area between the neck and breasts) and hands.
Restylane Perlane and SubQ
Volumising injections, such as Restylane Perlane and SubQ can be used to replace lost volume and restore facial balance and symmetry, while providing a lifting effect.
Restylane Perlane and SubQ are used to correct severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the nasolabial folds and in the upper and mid-face which can cause a droopy and aged appearance. They can also be used to augment facial features such as the cheeks and chin that may have diminished with ageing. These areas can be built up without the need for surgery.
Treatments for ageing aren’t just about holding back the years, but also about looking and feeling positively radiant. Naturally beautiful from within.
Today Restylane has range of facial treatments for a more youthful, rested appearance. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
IPL is a technology that converts light to heat when it reaches the collagen in the skin. This is known as photorejuvenation. It is used to treat sun-damaged skin on the face, including pigmentation, age spots and broken blood vessels and may also be used on the hands, arms, neck and chest.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a treatment in which fine particles of crystal or a diamond-tipped head are used to ‘polish’ the skin, removing the uppermost layers and allowing the new skin underneath to surface. It is commonly used for fine lines, pigmentation, acne and acne scars.
Facial peels involve either a chemical or herbal treatment that removes layers of the skin to stimulate rejuvenation. Peels vary in strength according to their active ingredients and range from very superficial to deep, depending on individual requirements.
