Thread Lift Treatment

What is Thread Lifting?

Thread Lifting, which has been called 'the sugery-free facelift' uses stabilised hyaluronic acid filler to address sagging in the lower face. The filler is injected in long threads into the cheeks and jawline, where sagging skin is typically found.

How does Thread Lifting work?

The hyaluronic acid filler is placed quite deeply by being injected in long threads. It provides lift to the face, while at the same time stimulating the skin’s natural hydration and collagen production, which helps to improve elasticity and tightens the skin to provide further lift.

Is Thread Lifting painful?

No. Topical anaesthetic cream and ice numb the area. A dental block can be administered if the patient is especially sensitive.

What about the downtime?

Some patients experience bruising, so it may be wise to book in for treatment on a Friday afternoon to allow bruising to subside over the weekend.
